What is Magic-O™ and Magic Salt?

Magic-O™ is the original patented, test proven anti-icing and de-icing liquid. Magic-0™ is a proprietary blend of distillers soluble and 30% MgCl2. Magic-0 de-icer is specifically formulated to enhance the eutectic point, anti-icing properties and viscosity of MgCl2. The distiller's product inhibits corrosion and suppresses crystal formation within the MgCl2. The distiller's product also increases the friction co-efficient of the MgCl2 and aids in the prevention of the "slickness" period sometimes experienced when using other chloride eased brines.

Magic Salt is regular rock salt that has been treated with Magic-O™. This liquid is a de-icing product which is recycled from agricultural processing industries and then blended with liquid magnesium chloride. Together they are completely biodegradable and environmentally friendly. When added to salt, the liquid suppresses its corrosive nature to steel and concrete. At the same time, this unique product is colored and will inhibit salt's messy residue. Magic Salt is the ultimate de-icing material.

Magic-O™ Pre-Treating

Winter Weather Services, Inc. can convert your traditional rock salt to Magic Salt with one application of Magic-O™. We will bring our truck mounted tank and spray unit to your site. You provide a wheel loader and operator to turn the stockpile as the liquid is being applied.
